WESTPORT — The Westport Fire Department responded to a pickup truck on fire behind a restaurant on Post Road West.
Two engines and the shift commander arrived just before noon to find an engine compartment fire blazing in an older model truck.
A one-and-three-quarter-inch hand line hose was deployed and the fire was quickly extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
