MILFORD — The Staples/Norwalk/Brien McMahon boys hockey team fell 6-2 to Wilton at Milford Ice Pavilion on Saturday night.

STORMAC’s loss followed a 5-1 win at Shepaug last Monday.

In the Wilton matchup, Jakub Laskovsky and Cooper Paul scored goals. Berkeley Johnson, Harry Goodburn, Austin Minoff and Paul recorded assists. Goaltender Alistair Mukhtar made 33 saves.

STORMAC tied the game at two in the second. In the third, Wilton amassed a two-goal lead before scoring two empty net goals.

Taking on Shepaug at The Gunnery in Washington, STORMAC’s victory was bolstered by Paul, who scored a natural hat-trick with the game’s last three goals, including a shorthanded tally. Devin Harris and Mac Lawton also lit the lamp.

Johnson and Goodburn each had two assists and Thatcher Cullen had an assist. Mukhtar made 24 saves.

On Monday, STORMAC (6-5) takes on Milford in the “Battle of the Barn” at 2:45 pm. at Milford Ice Pavilion.
