WESTPORT — The Stapes High girls soccer team is still perfect this season, improving to 6-0 with a trio of wins last week, culminating with a 4-1 Saturday afternoon victory at Darien.
Natalie Chudowsky, Maddy Johnson, Alexa Van Aken and Katie Fitzgerald all scored against the Blue Wave, which scored the first goal against the Wreckers this season.
Annabel Edwards set up three goals for an assist hat-trick and Chudowsky had one assist.
The Wreckers started the week with an 8-0 blanking of visiting Norwalk last Tuesday.
Neave Mulvey scored twice and Maddy Johnson, Alexa Van Aken, Chudowsky, Kaela Cohen, Emme Dorfman and Kathryn Fontana all hit the net.
Alex Duque assisted two goals and Van Aken, Alexis Krenzner, Dorfman, Chudowsky and Maddy Johnson all had goal setups.
The next day, Staples netted a 3-0 win at Stamford.
Taylor Lunney, Johnson and Riely Gullens each scored. Sadie Katzner had a pair of assists and Chudowsky assisted a goal.
