GREENWICH–Staples boys tennis, the No. 3 seed, fell 4-0 to host and No. 2 Greenwich in the FCIAC Tournament semifinals on Monday.

Elias Orell defeated Alekos Vergakis 6-1, 6-1. In doubles, Jake Orbanowski and Ryan Stanton defeated Kieran Ananda and Jonny Greenspan 6-2, 6-2; Milo Russo and William Neuenfeldt beat Reid O’Brien and Aaron Fortunoff 6-0, 6-1; Teddy Aaron and Liam McGovern defeated Jack McAuley and Micah Turner 6-3, 6-4.

The state tournament begins at the end of May.
