NORWALK — Make it seven for seven to start the season for Staples boys basketball team, as the Wreckers netted their latest win over Norwalk High, 75-56, Thursday.

The Wreckers jumped out to a 20-9 lead after one quarter and went up 44-30 at the half.

Matthew Corrigan racked up 16 points to go along with three rebounds and two steals. Sam Clachko also had 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds and had two assists.

Adam Udell scored 13 points, collected eight rebounds, handed out eight assists and grabbed two steals. Charlie Bowman had 10 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Dhilan Lowman scored 11 points to go along with a pair of rebounds, trio of assists and a steal.

Mason Tobias added four points and five assists; Drew Hill had three points and a steal; and Austin Heyer had two points, a rebound and one assist.
