WESTPORT–Say “Hello” to 3 Vani Court. The Building Department issued a demolition permit for the property earlier this year. The original house, built in 1948, was a 1½-story cape with 1,500 square feet of living space, a basement, a crawl space, a garage and a stone patio.

In its place today stands a 3,000-square foot, 1½-story contemporary Colonial, with five bedrooms, four and a half baths, a basement, a garage, a stone terrace and a finished upper story.

The property traded hands in August for $1.8 million. It had traded in January for $485K.

The assessed value of the property was $385,700 in 2020 and is $996,200 today.
