WESTPORT – The Building Department issued a demolition permit for the original house at 25 Treadwell Avenue in May 2020. A new house has been built in its place. 

The old house, built in 1935, was a two-story Colonial with 2,600-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, one full bathroom, one half bathroom, a basement and crawl space, a detached garage, a concrete patio and a finished upper story.

The new house is a 4,400-square-foot, 2 ½-story Colonial, with six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half bath, an unfinished basement, a garage, a stone patio, a finished upper story, a finished half-story and an unfinished attic.

The property traded hands in June 2020 for $1,060,000.

The assessed value of the property was $743,000 in 2018 and is $1,523,600 today.

Treadwell Avenue connects Riverside Avenue to Kings Highway South.
