WESTPORT–The Building Department last week issued a permit to demolish the house at 5 Brookside Drive.
The two-story conventional was built in 1943. It has 2,000-square-feet of living space, two bedrooms, four bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a stone terrace, a finished upper story and an unfinished attic.
The property traded hands in May for $840,000. The property’s current assessment is $560,000.
Brookside Drive is off Compo Road N.
