WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 1 Birchwood Lane.
The single-story split-level was built in 1970. It has 1,600-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a garage, an open porch and a stone patio.
The property traded hands in March for $810,000. The property’s current assessment is $482,700.
Birchwood Lane is off Kings Highway S.
