WESTPORT — An 18-year-old allegedly threatened to kill a resident during a dispute after their relationship ended, police said.
Kyle Flynn, of Norwalk, was charged Monday with second-degree threatening in connection with the incident.
Police initiated an investigation after a resident filed a complaint Feb. 19 that an “ex-boyfriend had just threatened to kill them,” according to police.
Threats allegedly were made by the former boyfriend — identified as Kyle Flynn — who was upset over the couple’s recent break-up.
After appearing at the resident’s home, according to the report, Flynn “made several threatening statements about ending [the resident’s] life,” leaving the person feeling “threatened.”
After investigating the report, Flynn was charged later Feb. 19 at Police Department headquarters.
He was released after posting $5,000 bond and arraigned the next day at state Superior Court in Stamford.
