WESTPORT — Brute, a Police Department K-9, has a new suit.
A new bullet-resistant protective vest, to be specific, courtesy of the nonprofit, Responder Wellness.
Brute is the department’s newest K-9.
The organization’s mission, according to its website, is to “subsidize or provide free of charge safety equipment and wellness services to first responders.”
