Following is the obituary for MARY Q. BULAKITES, submitted for her family by the Harding Funeral Home.

Mary Q. Bulakites, fondly known to friends and family as “Snookie,” 95, wife of the late George J. Bulakites and a lifelong Westport resident, passed away peacefully on Aug. 4, 2023, at her home in Westport.
Mary was born in Norwalk on Jan. 3, 1928, and was the daughter of the late William Quinn and Mary Beiling.
Mary worked as a clerk in the Assessor’s Office for the town of Westport for many years until she retired in 1980. Mary was a member of Assumption Church and the Joseph J. Clinton VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary in Westport.
In addition to her husband George Bulakites, Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph McCaffrey; her sister, Kathleen Quinn Marcroft, and her daughter, Kathi M. LeBlanc.
She is survived by her grandson, Ian LeBlanc and his wife Ashley of Norwalk, and her granddaughter, Karis LeBlanc and her husband Dmitry of Brooklyn, N.Y., and two great-grandchildren, Aurora and Merida LeBlanc.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, meeting directly at Old Assumption Cemetery, Kings Highway North.
