Eugene Gans, PhD, 93, of Westport, passed away on June 26, 2023, at Norwalk Hospital.
Gene was born in New York, N.Y., to the late Harry and Sophia Gans. Gene loved his career and his colleagues in R&D at Hoffman-LaRoche, Richardson-Vicks and Medicis.
Gene is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Roslyn Gans; his devoted daughter, Lois Gans Kemp; son-in-law, Lee; grandson, Steven Kemp, and wonderful family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Steven Gans, and daughter-in-law, Linda.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, at 11 a.m. at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
