Following is the obituary for ALAN K. NUDELMAN, submitted for his family by the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Alan K. Nudelman, of Westport, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 87. 

Alan will be remembered for his humor, altruism and generosity. 

Born in Chicago, Alan graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in engineering and served as an Army lieutenant at Fort Monmouth, N.J., for two years. 

After a 25-year career at IBM, Alan was president of Composition Materials for 30 years.

Alan is survived by his wife, Kay Nudelman; his daughters, Julie Naye and Joey Sadavrati; stepsons, David Elster and Jeff Elster; grandchildren, Wes Naye, Jack Naye, George Naye and Jett Naye; step-grandchildren, Sydney Elster and Alex Elster, and his sister, Iris Anosov.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7, at 2 p.m., at Temple Israel, 14 Coleytown Road, with interment following at Temple Israel Cemetery, 225 Richards Ave., Norwalk. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Anti-Defamation League.
