WESTPORT — It’s not New Haven style. It’s not New York style. And it’s certainly not Chicago style.

It’s pizza Westport style — farm-fresh pies.

Learn how to make pizza, al fresco, with crust and toppings to suit your own taste Sunday, Sept. 26, at Wakeman Town Farm, 134 Cross Highway.

The farm will fire up its outdoor pizza over for this hands-on program, set from 10 a.m. to noon.

Chef Annalyce Loretto and Pizzaiolo Carl McNair will lead the class using the farm’s Italian wood-burning oven. 

Participants will be shown how to make traditional pizza, personalized with oils, herbs, vegetables and toppings to please any palate.

The event is open to participants 12 years old and over. Cost is $60 per person. Register here.
