WESTPORT — ’Tis the season: for repairing Westport streets.
The town’s annual crack-seal program gets underway Tuesday, according to the Department of Public Works.
The project — targeting 11 miles of roads in different parts of town — will take place daily over the next three weeks, the DPW said.
Traffic will not be detoured around work zones, officials said, but will be allowed to pass via alternating one-way flow. Streets will open for two-way traffic as the crews complete work.
Traffic-control personnel will be on hand to guide vehicles through work zones.
Requests to the DPW for the list of roads included in the maintenance project were not returned by the end of the business day Tuesday.
