WESTPORT — A dusting of snow that skimmed across the region Saturday morning had mostly vanished by afternoon — although isolated snowshowers were a reminder that wintry weather can be tenacious.
As skies clear overnight, the outlook for Sunday calls for mostly sunny conditions with temperatures rising to a high in the upper-30s, according to the National Weather Service.
For the President’s Day holiday on Monday, the forecast is even brighter, the NWS predicts, with sunny skies and temperatures in the low-40s.
The same forecast is expected to prevail at least through Wednesday.
