WESTPORT — Seven “Students of the Month” have been selected for January at Staples High School.

They include: senior Brendan Dellorusso, juniors Jada Shelby and Logan Noorily, sophomores Daniel Arava and Catherine Cirasuolo, and freshmen Katherine Mannino and Thomas Scott. 

The students, nominated by teachers, are selected for helping to make the high school “a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” according the school’s announcement.

The citation recognizes the recipients as “all-around good citizens” at Staples, and credits “the positive attitude they bring to school every day in making Staples High School a genial place in which to learn and teach.”
