WESTPORT — The annual Clothing Tag Sale is planned Nov. 5-7 by the Westport Woman’s Club.
The sale’s hours are: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, and noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7. It will take place in the WWC clubhouse, 44 Imperial Ave.
“Gently used” clothing for women, men and children, as well as accessories, will be on sale, event planners say.
Tax-deductible donations of new or gently worn clothing will be accepted for the sale through Oct. 27. Donations can be dropped off at the clubhouse weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Money raised by the tag sale will be used by the WWC to help support the town’s Food Closet, local charities throughout Fairfield County and need-based student scholarships.
