WESTPORT–Countless young witches, princesses, pirates and many other Halloween favorites paraded down Main Street Wednesday in Westport’s annual Halloween Parade. Children gathered candy from storekeepers, some of them costumed themselves, as they passed along the street.
The parade stretched from Post Road East to Veteran’s Green across from Town Hall. The kids–and their adult minders–enjoyed refreshments and music by DJ Kenny Michaels.
The Halloween Parade is an annual event sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, the Westport Downtown Association and the Westport P.A.L.
