WESTPORT — The Circle of Friends of Fairfield County will honor more than 150 teens who volunteer in the nonprofit’s programs for children with special needs at its annual fundraising dinner on April 23.

The 17th annual event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the Westport Woman’s Club, 44 Imperial Ave. To reserve tickets, click here.

Stephen Schwartz, president of the Promark Group in Westport, is guest of honor. 

High school seniors from Staples High School, as well as from Weston, Wilton and Greenwich high schools, will receive Fellowship Awards for their combined 4,000 “friendship volunteer hours” working with special needs youngsters, according to the agency.

The dinner also will include entertainment and screening of a video, “The Heart of Friendship,” produced for the event.
