WESTPORT – Due to the stormy conditions for this weekend, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport is cancelling their Fun Fest that was planned for Saturday afternoon. The event will be rescheduled.

Pam Einarsen, co-chair of the event, said that they felt the conditions didn’t promise to offer much fun unless it was reconfigured “As a water park with a floating bouncy house and a petting zoo full of river otters and ducks!”

Rev. Terri Dennehy, the new minister at UUCW, added, “We are looking out for everyone’s safety as we prepare for  the possibility of high winds and flooding. While we are unable to hold the Fun Fest at this time, we invite everyone to come by  or reach out at any time. Be safe, everyone.”
