WESTPORT — The “Yankee Doodle Fair,” one of Westport’s most enduring — and entertaining — springtime events, comes to town again June 15-18.

Coming along for four days of fun, hosted by the Westport Woman’s Club, will be a kaleidoscopic carnival of music, food, raffles, a carousel, Flying Dumbo, Frog Hopper and other rollicking rides.

The fair returns, as is traditional, for the Father’s Day weekend: 6-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, June 15-16; 1-10 p.m. Saturday, June 17, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday, June 18. The event is set on the clubhouse grounds, 44 Imperial Ave.

Net proceeds from the fair benefit Westport Woman’s Club community and social-service charities in Fairfield County, as well as need-based scholarships for Staples High School seniors and the club’s Food Closet, which coordinates with the town’s Department of Human Services.
