WESTPORT — Not content with their annual “Day of Service” to support community projects, Westport’s two Rotary clubs on May 17 will join with three other clubs for an “Epic Day of Service.”

Westport Sunrise Rotary and Westport Rotary clubs, in partnership with Bridgeport Rotary, Bridge Academy Interact Rotary Club and Fairfield Rotary, plan to tackle seven different community-service projects — one on Thursday, May 15, and the rest Saturday, May 17.

To make the initiative truly “epic,” the clubs are reaching out for volunteers to help with the projects. Three are in Westport, three in Bridgeport and one in Norwalk, according to organizers.
