WESTPORT — People have already started lining up at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Greens Farms Train Station to pick up their free COVID-19 at-home test kits, the distribution of which was scheduled to start at 3 p.m. today.
Police have blocked off the entirety of parking lot #1, on the east side of New Creek Road, where vehicles will be directed in a large circle around the lot in two lines to receive two free kits. Each kit contains two rapid tests.
Kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Proof of Westport residency is required.
Cars have already queued in a loop around the west side lot, however, with traffic already backed up north on New Creek Road and out onto Greens Farms Road.
