The whole issue of the community gardens has been mishandled from the get go. Had the Gardeners been included in the planning process we would not be where we are today. Instead, the School Building Committee and the administration , in a regrettable display of arrogance, chose to isolate the Gardeners, to turn a deaf ear to their pleas and to muscle their way through the process. If the project is delayed – and I hope it won’t be – they have only themselves to blame.
