Westport Journal is looking for talented freelance writers and photographers to help us cover the news and events in town.

This is a great opportunity for seasoned professionals looking for a flexible gig, or for students and those new to the profession who want to beef up their profile and hone their chops working for a news organization in a community filled with exciting news and events.

We’re looking for people with writing chops or their own photography equipment in the greater Westport area who can be available during the day or in the evenings to cover meetings and spot news as needed. Bonus points if you can be available on short notice when news breaks. This is also a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a competitive field.
