This is why traffic is so bad in Westport. An accident occurs and is pulled over to the shoulder. Then TWO lanes are held up rather than one. The accident is not cleared for hours until all the insurance investigators have their say and THEN it is cleared. In the meantime traffic cascades through the Post Rd. greens Farms Road, etc. Something can be done about this.
No Jeff the lanes are blocked to protect the first responders. This is a nationwide standard.
