WESTPORT—After his rousing speech at the No Kings rally on Saturday, Governor Ned Lamont will return to Westport in April for a more buttoned-up appearance.
As part of the Your State, Your Business series, produced by the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Westport Library, Lamont will speak on Monday, April 13 at the Westport Library at 11 a.m.
The series has so far featured Comptroller Sean Scanlon and Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas. The next session will take place Thursday, April 2, featuring Attorney General William Tong.
Governor Lamont’s session is expected to focus on Connecticut’s fiscal stability and economic outlook, highlighting efforts to maintain affordability.
“These events provide a unique opportunity for our business community to engage directly with state leadership,” said Matthew Mandell, executive director of the chamber. “We are especially excited to welcome Governor Lamont and we encourage everyone to attend this important discussion.”
All events in the series are free and open to the public, though advance registration is required.
