WESTPORT—The Selectman’s office announced today that homeowners whose property was damaged during the Sept. 13 flood can apply for free flood cleanup help from Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR).
According to its website, SBDR is the third-largest disaster response group in the nation; they deploy a network of state-based volunteer teams to help homeowners bounce back from disaster. They offer help with
- assessment,
- removal of damaged items and materials,
- cleanup, and
- mold mitigation.
