FAIRFIELD AND STAMFORD – Two local libraries will host public talks from Ukrainian Aid International this week, highlighting the relationship between Connecticut communities and their sister cities in the Donetsk Oblast.

The first event will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 9th, at the Ferguson Library in Stamford. It will be followed by another event at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 10th, at the Fairfield Public Library. Pre-registration for the Fairfield event is required at this link, and closes at 2 p.m. on the day of the event.
Each event will showcase moderated talks on featured speakers’ personal insights and experiences, visual presentations on the sister city and sister state partnerships, and a look at how the relationship is making a difference in people’s lives in Ukraine’s war zones.
Through Ukraine Aid International, Fairfield has established a sister city relationship with Konstantynivka, while Stamford has partnered with Kramatorsk. Both relationships were established in 2023.
