WESTPORT — The music of Billy Joel, performed by a musician who tours with the rock icon, will be showcased May 20 in a “Stars on Tour” presentation at the Levitt Pavilion.
Mike DelGuidice and his band, Big Shot, who tour regularly with Billy Joel, including his performances at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will be in the spotlight for the Levitt concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 20.
The performance will feature the group’s renditions of music from Billy Joel’s songbook, plus work by Elton John, Paul McCartney, the Beatles and more, according to publicity for the show.
Tickets sold for the Stars on Tour series help underwrite the nonprofit Levitt’s summer season of free concerts and year-round operations.
Advance ticket sales are available now for Levitt members; ticket sales for the general public start at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11.
