First Folk Sunday – Sentimental Journey

December 7, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
$20.00

SUZANNE SHERIDAN and Dave Childs (keyboards) and John Mobilio (standup bass) return to the 40’s on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7. Singing the music from the American songbook is a first for First Folk Sunday but the opportunity was simply irresistible for a songstress with the versatility of SUZANNE SHERIDAN.

Someone once said, “If it never gets old, it’s folk music”. With that in mind, Gershwin never gets old, Cole Porter never gets old. The American standard repertoire of the 40’s, which defined and enhanced the social order during World War II, remains popular to this day.

First Folk Sunday is approaching the last concert of its third season on December 7 and looking forward to its fourth season at the Saugatuck Rowing Club starting July 5, 2026.

In addition to the purchase of a ticket, the culinary team at Saugatuck Rowing Club, 521 Riverside Avenue, offers a First Folk Sunday brunch menu at each show along with craft cocktails and other beverages. Doors open at noon and the music begins at 12:30. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased on the First Folk Sunday website, https://firstfolksunday.com
