WESTPORT — A two-day improv workshop will be offered Aug. 19-20 by the Westport Community Theatre.

The program, ”Finding Flow and the Art of Improvisation,” will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 19-20, at the theater located in Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.

The workshop costs $175 and is designed for adults, according to the theater’s announcement. Previous improvisational experience is not required.

Rosanne Nelson, a veteran WCT actor, will lead the workshop, teaching with the methodology of David Razowsky, author of “A Subversives’ Guide to Improvisation.” Nelson trained three years with Razowsky, a former artistic director at Second City Los Angeles, who as an actor has written and performed in ten Second City Chicago revues, according to the theater.
