The shows are:
“Tenderness and Gratitude Number Four,” a new comedy written and directed by Enid Graham, will be presented at 7 p.m. April 15 as part of the theater’s “Script in Hand” play-reading series.
The play explores a relationship that evolves between co-workers, party boy Michael and jaded Jenny. Featured performers are Mary Testa and Robert Sella.
“Ann Talman: Elizabeth Taylor and the Shadow of Her Smile,” features Talman in a cabaret-style memoir of performing with Elizabeth Taylor in a 1981 Broadway production of “The Little Foxes.”
The show is set for 7 p.m. April 21 in the Lucille Lortel White Barn Center, adjacent to the main theater. It features anecdotes about the actresses’ relationship, interwoven with music from Broadway and the Great American Songbook.
“Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!” based on Mo Willems’ “Pigeon” picture books for children, will be staged at 1 and 4 p.m. April 27.
The show, produced by TheaterWorksUSA and part of the playhouse “Family Festivities” series, is a tale about a pigeon that tries to intervene when a bus driver has a crisis.
