Pastuszek, the show’s creator, also created and has performed another solo tribute show, “Get Happy! An Evening Celebrating the World’s Greatest Entertainer, Judy Garland.”

Play-reading of “Paris,” by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Eboni Booth, is set April 14.

She is co-founder of Innovative Voice Studio, where she trains Broadway artists, and of Innovative Performance, where she coaches leaders in various fields to more effectively express themselves, according to the playhouse’s announcement.

Drew Wutke is the musical director for the production. Last year, he was musical director of “A Night for Swifties” at the playhouse.

“Paris,” described as “a fierce, funny and subtle look at working-class America,” is slated for a play-reading at 7 p.m. Monday, April 14, at the playhouse as part of its “Script in Hand” series.

The drama was written by Eboni Booth, winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her play, “Primary Trust.” Director of the play-reading is Anissa Felix.

The play’s narrative focuses on Emmie, one of the only Black residents of “Paris” — Vermont — who “desperately needs a job. When she is hired at Berry’s, a store off the interstate selling everything from baby carrots to lawnmowers, she begins to understand a new kind of isolation,” according to the theater’s publicity for the play-reading.
