WESTPORT — A pair of singer/songwriters will share the spotlight May 4 at Voices Café.

Jesse Terry and Sam Robbins, both full-time touring musicians, are slated to perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the café in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road.

Jesse Terry, a Wilton native, performs about 150 shows yearly, including venues like Bonnaroo, Philadelphia Folk Festival and the AmericanaFest, according to publicity for the concert.

He wrote all the music and lyrics on his latest album, “When We Wander,” and recorded it live in the studio with his band. He earned a degree from Berklee College of Music and worked five years in Nashville’s Music Row, writing material for television and was the recipient of severals awards for his songwriting. Sam Robbins is a Nashville-based performer, who in 2021 was one of six winners in the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk competition. Three years earlier, performed on “The Voice” television program.

A native of Portsmouth, N.H., and graduate of Berklee College, he performs steadily around the country, including events like Kerrville Folk Festival, Dripping Springs Songwriter’s Festival and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. To learn more about Sam Robbins and his music, visit his website.
