NORWALK – The signature fundraiser for the Center for Contemporary Printmaking returns on Saturday, Nov. 1, with an evening of food, drinks, and art.

The 26th annual MONOTHON Auction and Party will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan’s Waveny Park. Tickets are $65 in advance or $75 at the door.

The event’s silent auction will feature prints from every artist who took part in the Center for Contemporary Printmaking’s MONOTHON Print Week, which ran from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6. The evening will also feature a live auction, starting at 7:30 p.m., featuring works by artists including Roz Chast, Mary Frank, Charles Cajori, and Eve Stockton. Guests will also have the opportunity to win prizes such as a printmaking residency in Napa, California; a private tour of the Mark Twain House and a signed copy of Ron Chernow’s new biography on the author; and a week of printmaking with a master printer at the Helen Frankenthaler Printmaking Cottage.

This year’s event will recognize Jacob Lewis, president of Pace Prints, as honorary chairperson. All proceeds will benefit the Center for Contemporary Printmaking’s exhibitions, artist residencies, and educational programming.
