NORWALK — Monothon, a celebrated annual event at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, is now underway at the museum.

Monothon’s “Print Week” began on Sunday and will continue through Saturday, Oct. 3rd. The event will feature five-hour print session blocks from master printmakers, with participants creating up to 10 monotype prints. One of these prints is chosen for an upcoming auction event, with participants keeping the remaining prints.

In addition, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking will host a special Youth Monothon on Saturday, Oct. 3rd and a Figure Monothon with a live model on Sunday, Oct. 4th. A ticketed auction and party, including an auction of the works produced during Monothon and the featured printmakers, will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 7th at The Carriage Barn in New Haven.
