WESTPORT — Broadway actresses who appeared in lead roles of the musical, “Wicked,” will perform in “Good Witch/Bad Witch,” a Jan. 20 concert at the Westport Country Playhouse.

The show features Alli Mauzey, who performed the role of Glinda, the good witch in “Wicked,” and Dee Roscioli, who portrayed Elphaba, the bad witch. In addition to performing “Popular” and “Defying Gravity” from that long-running Broadway hit, the concert will include other notable tunes from musicals such as “Funny Girl” and “Frozen.”

“Good Witch/Bad Witch” is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the playhouse, 25 Powers Court.

Mauzey, who in addition to performing the role of Glinda on Broadway, also appeared in the show’s first national tour and the San Francisco company. She currently is in the cast of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, “Kimberly Akimbo” as Pattie, and previously played Ernestina in the Tony Award-winning revival of “Hello, Dolly!”

Roscioli, who has performed the role of Elphaba more than any other actress, according to playhouse publicity, has appeared in the role on Broadway, in Chicago and across the U.S. She also performed the role of Grizabella in the national tour of “Cats.”
