WESTPORT — A program of classical musical will be performed Aug. 5 by the Danish String Quartet at MoCA Westport.

The concert by the Grammy Award-nominated ensemble will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the museum, 19 Newtown Turnpike.

A program featuring music by Purcell, Schumann and Schubert is planned for the performance.

Musicians in the quartet include Frederik Øland and Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, both on violin; Asbjørn Nørgaard on viola, and Fredrik Schøyen Sjölin on cello.

Concert goers are invited to visit MoCA’s current exhibition, “Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse,” before the performance.
