WESTPORT— The First Folk Sunday concert series continues on Sunday, Aug. 2 at the Saugatuck Rowing Club with a special tribute to Cheryl Wheeler, with Suzanne Sheridan on stage.
According to the release, Cheryl Wheeler’s music appeals to so many diverse audiences because of her ability to make you cry one minute and laugh hysterically the next. No one in the history of music has ever written an homage to a potato, written to the tune of the Mexican Hat Dance. But Cheryl did and Suzanne Sheridan is going to sing it and teach it on August 2 at the Saugatuck Rowing Club
