WESTPORT — Wyclef Jean, a Grammy Award-winning musician, will visit Westport this spring as the main act in VersoFest ’26.
The Westport Library announced that Jean will be performing with his full band at the event, with the concert beginning at 8 p.m. on March 27th at the library’s Trefz Forum. Celebrating its fifth year in 2026, VersoFest is an annual music and media conference and schedule “where knowledge is shared and inspiration is discovered — a forum for media creators, artists, and fans to converge.”
Jean is a performing artist, composer, and co-founder of the hip hop group The Fugees. With several chart-topping hits to his name, Jean has released six albums as a solo artist and sold nearly nine million copies. He is the recipient of three Grammy Awards and has been nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award.
Jean’s performance at VersoFest will support Music Will, which is the largest nonprofit music education program for schools in the United States.
Tickets to VersoFest are $125, and the concert will take place in an intimate venue with a capacity of just 700 guests. The festival will also feature a kickoff concert by the rising rock band The Thing on February 27th.
