Staples names six as “Students of the Month” for November

WESTPORT — Six “Students of the Month” have been selected for November at Staples High School.

They are: freshman Blake Serotta, senior Avery Michalowski, junior Jaicelynn Denny, sophomores Lucy Bughman and Noa Katz and junior Elias Ramos.

Nominated by their teachers, students chosen for the distinction are considered the “glue” that knits together the Staples community, according to Principal Stafford Thomas.

They are “all-around good citizens” of the school, “who help make Staples High School a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” the announcement states.
