WESTPORT – Two authors will share their insights on writing and publishing books for young readers at a free workshop offered by the Westport Writers’ Workshop.

“Paths to Publishing” will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4th at the Westport Writers’ Workshop. It will feature Lori Kase and Diana Sussman, who will share their insights on writing across genres, utilizing workshops to launch their careers, and researching and querying agents and editors. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Kase is the author of the young adult novel The Accident and Sussman is the author of the middle-grade mystery The Neighbor’s Secret, which was a finalist for the American Fiction Award and Tassy Walden Award. Both authors were students of the Westport Writers’ Workshop, and Christine Pakkala (an instructor with the group) will moderate the discussion.
