WESTPORT–Wheels2U, the local door-to-door on-demand car service, wants Westporters to know that the service can take some of the stress out of the Thanksgiving weekend.

Peter Gold, Director of the Westport Transit District says “Using Wheels2U makes it easy for kids and company to get to and from the train. All they have to do is download the Wheels2U app and book a ride as the train approaches the station. All you have to do is relax.”

Karina Bertfarhad, Director of the Westport Transit District, says “Using Wheels2U lets you remove the ‘station run’ from your to-do list. You can focus on timing the turkey and spending time with family and friends.” 

Gold said if your kids are coming home from New York on Wednesday or if you’re having company coming from New York for a “Friendsgiving” dinner on Friday, Wheels2U is a great way to get them from the station to your house.

Wheels2U goes between the Saugatuck and Greens Farms train stations and anywhere

in Westport from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and

Friday (there is no service on Thanksgiving Day).
