WESTPORT – The Westport Museum for History & Culture will celebrate its third annual Cultural Fellowship, offering a way for people to experience holiday traditions from multiple cultures in one venue.

The Cultural Fellowship will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th. The event is free, although the museum suggests a $5 donation to help continue its unique programming.

Attendees can experience the traditions of holidays including Christmas, Chanukah, Diwali, the Persian Winter Solstice, Thai and Chinese Lunar New Year, Three Kings Day, the traditions of the Paugussett tribe, and more. The event will feature music, food, hands-on activities, and other opportunities to learn more about global cultural practices.

The Cultural Fellowship was established in 2023 with the goal of addressing global tensions by bringing together people of different cultures and educating visitors on different traditions. The event proved popular enough that a second version was introduced earlier this year, celebrating different springtime holidays and traditions.
