WESTPORT — The town’s public schools will be closed Thursday, with the threat of snow and freezing rain forecast most of the day.
The wintry weather is likely to pose hazardous driving conditions, Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice said in a Wednesday evening announcement.
In addition to cancelled classes, school district offices will be closed Thursday.
Other school-related activities will be cancelled or rescheduled, the superintendent said.
