State Rep. Dominique Johnson, a freshman Democrat whose 143rd House District includes western Westport, plans a constituent meeting March 18.

State Rep. Dominique Johnson, a Democrat elected last November in the 143rd House District, which includes a slice of western Westport, plans a constituent gathering March 18.

The meeting is set from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 18, at Cafe Dolce, 345 Main Ave. in Norwalk.

Constituents are invited to meet with Johnson to discuss issues under consideration by the General Assembly and other topics, according to a press statement.

At the same time, Johnson will be collecting donations to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center. The donations, which support residents of DVCC safe houses, can include items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, body wash and self-care products.
