
WESTPORT — “Westoberfest,” an autumnal celebration of craft beer, is on tap Saturday for a fourth year of open-air quaffing.
The event, sponsored by the Westport Downtown Association, will the place from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in the Sigrid Schultz parking lot off Elm Street.
Tickets — $45 for single general-admission, $400 for a 10-pack — are on sale online now. The price of general admission tickets rises to $55 on the day of the event, which will take place rain or shine.
Entry to the beer-tasting area is restricted to people 21 years old and over.
Westoberfest organizers promise that, in addition to a wide rage of craft beers available to sample, the event will feature live musical performances, food, vendors, a pop-up farmers market and a separate area for “family-friendly” activities.
Beer-tasting patrons will receive a tasting glass to take home with a beer koozie.
